The Global Crime Index Annual Report 2021, covering the first half of 2021, published by the Encyclopedia of the World Database “Numbeo”, one of the world’s largest and most popular Internet databases, and is concerned with assessing the level of crime and the degree of Security in the world by measuring crime rates. The Index relies on many criteria, such as murder, robbery, and rape, where States rank is arranged at a scale of 0 to 100. The closer a State gets to zero, the lower its crime rates, and the higher they are if a state’s assessment approaches 100.
