Al-Bayan Center for Studies and Planning welcomed Mr. John Cavanagh, Deputy Head of the Australian Mission in Iraq.
During their meeting, the Center’s Executive Director, Dr. Ali Taher Al-Hammood, stressed the need to utilize international expertise for Iraq’s economic and developmental reforms. He noted that continued support from partners like Australia is crucial for enhancing the country’s internal stability. Dr. Al-Hammood also highlighted the Center’s commitment to expanding its international partnerships to foster dialogue on key priorities, particularly peacebuilding and sustainable development.
For his part, Mr. Cavanagh expressed Australia’s appreciation for the Al-Bayan Center’s role in shaping intellectual discussions and public policy. He affirmed his country’s desire to strengthen cooperation with Iraqi research institutions to support the Iraqi people and promote regional stability.
