In partnership with the ERF Economic Research Forum, Al-Bayan Center for Planning and Studies held a closed virtual online session to discuss the Iraq segment of the Project for the Study of Youth and Popular Mobility in the Arab World.

Researcher Hashim Al-Rikabi presented a paper on decentralization and proposed ways to develop the decentralized management system in Iraq through existing experiences.

Dr. Asma’a Jameel Rasheed and Dr. Zahra Ali also presented their paper on the demands of women in recent protests and the historical, economic, and political context that makes up the reality of women in Iraq.

it is worth mentioning that Al-Bayan Center for Planning and Studies is a key partner in the implementation of the project, which spans several Arab countries, discussing the perspectives and aspirations of young people through policy papers that help decision-makers adapt to the popular demands demonstrated by the protests in Iraq, Lebanon, Sudan, and Algeria.
