A delegation from Al-Bayan Center for Studies and Planning, led by the center’s Executive Director, Dr. Ali Taher Al-Hamoud, met with Mr. Ammar Al-Hakim, the leader of the Wisdom Movement.
During the meeting, they discussed introducing Al-Bayan Center’s objectives and achievements and extended an invitation to various Iraqi political factions to collaborate with the center in identifying the challenges facing the nation-building process in Iraq, along with the associated solutions.
Furthermore, the meeting addressed ways to bridge the gap between the intellectual and academic elite, on the one hand, and the political system, on the other hand. They also emphasized the need for a rational approach to deal with the populist phenomena that affect the country’s political and social spheres.
This meeting comes as part of a series of planned encounters that Al-Bayan Center intends to conduct with political forces and official figures in the near future.
